About Platform Bangladesh

Platform Bangladesh is an international, nonprofit organization founded in 2024 with a mission to address the most urgent challenges facing Bangladesh, focusing on education, environment, human rights, and sustainable urban-rural development. Our teams go where the needs are greatest, working to provide support, advocacy, and solutions for communities affected by disasters, climate change, exclusion, and inequality.

We believe in a world where every individual has access to education, live in a safe environment, and enjoys their human rights. We strive to amplify the voices of those who are often unheard and work tirelessly to address issues of systemic injustice. Our work is grounded in the principles of neutrality, impartiality, and independence, and we aim to catalyze change through innovation, collaboration, and grassroots efforts.

Principles We Uphold

At Platform Bangladesh, our work is guided by core principles that ensure we remain effective, ethical, and inclusive in all our efforts:

  • Impartiality: We provide support to communities in need without discrimination, focusing on the most vulnerable populations, regardless of nationality, religion, or political affiliation.
  • Neutrality: We remain neutral in political conflicts and work solely for the benefit of those in need, ensuring that our programs are driven by humanitarian principles, not political or economic interests.
  • Independence: We operate independently of political, economic, or religious influences, maintaining our ability to serve those who are most in need without external pressures.
  • Human Dignity and Rights: We believe in the fundamental right of all individuals to live with dignity, free from discrimination or exclusion, and our programs are designed to uphold these rights.

These principles are at the heart of every project we implement, from community development to advocacy and emergency response.

Principles

Platform Bangladesh is committed to empowering individuals and communities by ensuring equal access to opportunities, resources, and support. The principle of inclusivity ensures that all individuals, regardless of socioeconomic background, can participate in and benefit from the foundation’s programs and services.
