By accessing or using the website, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms & Conditions, together with our Privacy Policy and Return & Refund Policy.

1. About Platform Bangladesh Foundation

Platform Bangladesh Foundation is a Bangladesh-based organisation working to support charitable, social, environmental, educational, development, and community-focused objectives. The Foundation may undertake programmes, projects, campaigns, research, advocacy, awareness activities, charitable initiatives, and other activities consistent with its organisational objectives and applicable law.

2. Donations

Donations made through this website are voluntary contributions intended to support the activities and objectives of Platform Bangladesh Foundation.

Unless a particular campaign or project specifically states otherwise, the Foundation may use donations where they are considered most appropriate to support its charitable and organisational objectives.

Where a donor selects a particular project, programme, campaign, or cause, the Foundation will make reasonable efforts to use the contribution for that purpose. If circumstances change, a project ends, or funds cannot reasonably be used for the stated purpose, the Foundation may redirect the contribution to a closely related charitable purpose consistent with its objectives.

3. Eligibility

·      You must be legally capable of entering into an agreement.

·      Information provided to the Foundation must be accurate and complete.

·      You must be authorised to use the payment method used for the transaction.

·      Donations must be voluntary and made for lawful purposes.

·      You must not use the website for fraudulent, unlawful, abusive, or misleading activities.

Where a person under the applicable legal age wishes to make a contribution, they should do so with the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian.

4. Payment Processing

Online donations and payments may be processed through SSLCommerz or another authorised payment service provider made available by the Foundation.

Platform Bangladesh Foundation does not ordinarily receive or store complete card numbers, card security codes, PINs, or other sensitive payment credentials on its own website. Payment information is processed through the applicable payment service provider in accordance with its security procedures and terms.

5. Donation Confirmation

Following a successful transaction, you may receive an electronic confirmation or receipt. A transaction is treated as successfully completed when confirmation has been received from the applicable payment gateway or payment service provider.

If money has been deducted but no confirmation is received, contact the Foundation with the relevant transaction details so the transaction can be investigated.

6. Refunds and Cancellations

Donations are generally voluntary and final. However, refund requests may be considered under the circumstances described in the Return & Refund Policy, including duplicate transactions, accidental payment/input errors, unauthorised or fraudulent transactions, cancelled event or campaign situations, incorrect allocation, and other exceptional circumstances.

Approved refunds will normally be processed within 7–10 working days after approval. The time for funds to appear in the donor's account may additionally depend on the relevant bank, card issuer, mobile financial service provider, or payment gateway.

7. Donor Information

When making a donation, you may be asked to provide information such as your name, email address, telephone number, billing information, transaction information, and other information necessary to process and administer your contribution. Personal information is handled in accordance with the Privacy Policy.

8. Website Use

·      Use the website only for lawful purposes.

·      Do not attempt unauthorised access to the website or its systems.

·      Do not introduce malware, viruses, or harmful code.

·      Do not interfere with website operation or security.

·      Do not submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information.

·      Do not use another person's payment information without authorisation.

·      Do not conduct or facilitate fraudulent transactions.

·      Do not copy or misuse website content without appropriate permission.

9. Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise stated, website content including text, graphics, photographs, logos, illustrations, design elements, documents, videos, and other materials is owned by or licensed to Platform Bangladesh Foundation. To the extent permitted by applicable law, Platform Bangladesh Foundation shall not be responsible for losses arising solely from circumstances outside its reasonable control, including payment gateway interruptions, banking system failures, telecommunications failures, internet outages, or unauthorised third-party access. Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or restricts liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or restricted.

14. Changes to These Terms

These Terms & Conditions may be updated to reflect changes to activities, website functions, payment arrangements, or applicable requirements. Updated terms will be published on the website and take effect from the date stated in the updated version.

15. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms & Conditions shall be interpreted in accordance with the applicable laws of Bangladesh, unless otherwise required by law. Any dispute should first be brought to the attention of Platform Bangladesh Foundation so that the parties may attempt to resolve the matter amicably.
